Construction Begins on New Riverfront Apartments

We are excited to announce that construction of 19 new Riverfront Apartments in Building 35 of North Dam Mill is now under way. Located directly on the Saco river, the 19 apartments will include 10 lofted units and 9 non-lofted units, ranging anywhere from 500 to 1,000 square feet. All units will include exposed brick and beams, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and washer/dryer hook ups. They will also have the regular all-inclusive rent package of basic utilities such as heat, water, hot water, sewer, and electricity, as well as cable, internet, and access to parking.

The 10 lofted apartments will be one bedroom units with over 18 foot ceilings. They will have the kitchen, living area, and a half bath with washer/dryer hook ups on the main floor. The lofted area will include a full bathroom, walk-in closet, and the bedroom which will look out over the rest of the apartment. The lofted units on the bottom floor of the building will have radiant heat. The 9 non-lofted apartments will be a mix of one bedroom and two bedroom units with over 10 foot ceilings, and will have similar aesthetics and the same all-inclusive package as the lofted apartments.

All 19 apartments will feature extremely tall windows to match the high ceilings, letting in maximal amounts of natural light, as well as spectacular views of the Saco River falls. As always, the units will include classic mill architecture mixed with modern features. As the home of York County’s largest mixed-use development project, as well as over 90 established businesses, the Pepperell Mill Campus is a vibrant and constantly evolving place. These new apartments will give more people the opportunity to join the exciting, urban atmosphere here. A pre-leasing package with more details will be released within the next few months.
