Pepperell Mill Campus-Based Photographers Perform Strongly at 2013 Maine Photography Show

The 2013 Maine Photography Show runs from April 13 through May 3, 2013 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation Gallery in Boothbay Harbor. This year’s theme is “trees”. Two North Dam Mill-based photographers placed significantly in the judging of this elite show. Patricia Takacs of Kivalo Photography received first place in the “trees” category for her print “Lonesome”. Russell Caron of Russell Caron Photography, Inc. received the Committee Choice award with his image “Fall Into Winter”, which is featured on the cover of the Show Catalog. Almost 1,000 images were submitted, and the top 100 are on exhibit. Boothbay Harbor is a leisurely 90 minute drive from the Pepperell Mill Campus, and is well worth a drive. Check it out!
