Pepperell Center gets a Lift with Impact Fitness
AS SEEN IN: Pepperell Pulse 11/15/13
The much-anticipated development of Pepperell Center is officially underway with Impact Fitness Center signing a 6,000 square foot lease. Eastland Construction will start the build out next week and the gym is scheduled to be open February 1st, 2014.
Impact Fitness is currently operating in an 1,800 square foot space in the North Dam Mill portion of the Pepperell Mill Campus. The current operation was such a success that owner Scott Fleurant was forced to stop taking new members. The move to the new 6,000 square foot facility will be a huge upgrade for the current members and it will open the door to for many new members to join.
The plans for the new facility includes a private area for personal training, a smoothie bar, and a turfed area for sprint work and group classes.
The new gym facility will be a great asset to the Pepperell Center. Negotiations are ongoing with several other businesses that will hopefully be joining Impact Fitness this spring.
The picture above is a rendering of what the façade of the Pepperell Center will look like. Located at the corner of Main Street and Alfred Street, the Pepperell Center will become the epicenter of activity for the Pepperell Mill Campus and an integral part of Biddeford’s downtown.
