Mike Wiley of Eventide Nominated for the James Beard Award
More recognition is in order for the Eventide/Honey Paw/Hugos string of restaurants in Portland. Eventide has been nominated for a James Beard “Best Chef” award in Beard’s annual national competition. Chef Mike Wiley is the only nominee representing a Maine restaurant. This is impressive given that Maine is now nationally recognized as a foodie destination.
Eventide will open their new commercial kitchen at the Pepperell Mill Campus on April 1st. Anyone for a lobster roll?
