Heartwood College of Art Expands within the North Dam Mill

In June The Heartwood College of Art leased two spaces in the North Dam Mill portion of the Pepperell Mill Campus. Both of the initial spaces are located on the second floor of Building 17.

Since then they have decided to expand their footprint within North Dam. They have already leased two additional spaces and have plans to lease another space in November. The new space on the first floor of Building 17 will be used as the college’s jewelry studio. The other new space in Building 15 will serve some short storage needs and be utilized as classroom in the future.

As you can see in the pictures Eastland Construction crews worked hard to transformed two “raw” spaces into finished space that will be ideal for artistic classrooms. With reconditioned flooring, new windows, and fresh paint, the two new spaces have seen a total transformation.

We look forward to seeing the college up and running in the next couple weeks.
